KABAM!

The KABAM Festival is free and open to the public from 8am to 4pm on Friday and Saturday (September 20-21) at the Grand Events Center, 515 E. Beale St.

There is a Writers’ Conference for the duration of the Festival, registration is available for one day or both days. Early bird registration (ends April 30) is $65 for one day, $100 for both days. General registration is $75 for one day, $120 for both days. Register at www.kingmankabam.org/register.html.

The Poetry Slam is Friday night (September 20) with an open mic at 5pm and slam starting at 6pm. The slam is free to participate, compete, and watch (to compete, please sign up at www.kingmankabam.org/poetry-slam.html ). The Slam will be located at Beale Street Brews at 510 E. Beale St.
